Week 2: HEAT with Digital Images/ Spreadsheet Essentials/ Excel

This last passed week I learned a lot about all the different functions we can use in the program Excel. Excel, being like a chart, is easy for keeping financial records and since it has a technology of mathematical skills I do not even have to update or change numbers one by one to get the total, Excel does it with the simple insert of a formula in the cell one wishes. While using Excel I am able to find out the sum, average, max, min, and more of how many people purchase my product and their opinions on it.
My plans for the Excel program is to use a pivot table to keep all of my data organized. Since the HEAT jacket is still in its primarily stages I don’t have that much financial to keep track off but I do have to know how many people know about the idea, how many of them are interested in investing, and how much. With Excel I can easily get averages and totals of how much I need and how much I have been offered. And the Cloud Computing is definitely going to help me when I am not in my computer (on my business trips) so I can run it over the Internet.
Another huge part of the HEAT jacket involves a lot of computer programming and test running. In order for me to produce this Jacket I am going to have to design different alternatives and then show them to an expert to see what his/her feedback is. This will require me to play with different styles and colors, and with the wide range of over 16 million Hex Codes this will be an interesting assignment. I cannot wait to see the first model!!!
